My name is Jocelyne Gonzalez and I am proud to announce that I will serve as your Director of Academic Affairs for the 2016-2017 academic year. As your Director of Academic Affairs, I am responsible for hosting study hours throughout the year, providing workshops, administering the Mentorship Program, and providing LBSA members with resources such as scholarships, internships, and other opportunities to excel academically. We are all attending UC Irvine for the same reason and I hope to help you all succeed beyond academics!
About myself... I am a 4th year double majoring in Criminology, Law, and Society and Educational Sciences, along with a minor in Chicano Latino Studies. I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, which I visit often. I love being with my family and spending time with my brother and sister. I love helping others out, meeting new people, hanging out with friends, listening to music, exploring new places, eating wings (mainly mild traditional wings from BWW), and I’m always up for some fun!
I look forward to meeting and getting to know you all! If you ever need help with anything, need someone to talk to, or want someone to have lunch with please feel free to contact me through text, phone call, snapchat, or Instagram :)
